EVENTS TO COME

Together, we will succeed in relieving, supporting and improving the living conditions of young people in difficulty of diversity. With your collaboration and your participation we will succeed!

We want to continue to offer different resources by giving them the opportunity to realize themselves, emancipate themselves and take power over the future and get involved in their community.

The projects are made by young people and for young people with the support of facilitators, vectors of change, experts, entrepreneurs, academics by maximizing collaborations for a well-rooted social impact of each project in their environment. This event will be held in three phases where the participants will be accompanied each time by a sage, a griot, who will act as mediator and three experts from different generations in the community. A performance on several representations to live intercultural experiences, intergenerational and enriching to be more aware of human values, to develop strategies to move towards the other in a positive way so that living together can still be possible.

ACTIVITY 1

Saturday, March 2, 2019, 11 am to 3 pm, House of Africa

This activity is especially for families

Theme: How can the family determine its future and make it happen

Young families will be accompanied by a griot and experts for the exchange and discussion part.

11h00 to 12h00: Tropical Brunch and Creativity Workshop adapted to the needs of the participants' children

12h00 to 13h 30: Creativity workshop parents / children

13h30 to 15h 00: Palaver Tree for young parents

ACTIVITY 2

Saturday, March 2, 2019, 18:00 to 22:00, House of Africa

This activity is especially for men and women heads of households.

Theme: Transmission of the inheritance and the universal African humanist

The young people will be accompanied by a griot and experts for the exchange and discussion part.

18:00 to 19:00: Cocktail and DJ

7 pm to 9 pm: Palaver Tree

9:00 pm to 11:00 pm: Networking

ACTIVITY 3

Sunday, March 3, 2019, 11h to 14h, House of Africa

This phase is especially for women

Theme: Conquering one's destiny and the role of women in transmitting African heritage.

The young people will be accompanied by a griot and experts for the exchange and discussion part.

MONTREAL

Nou la for Haiti! On November 3rd, a fundraising evening was held to support the families struck by Hurricane Mattew in southern Haiti. A sensational atmosphere, a successful event thanks to the participation of artists such as KAYTRANADA, Lou Phelps, Gayance, Pierre Kwenders, FOXTROTT, Illa J, Massive Nomadic, Clay & Friends and Team GAYA.

A silent auction was held throughout the evening, items such as Kaytranada's '' 99.9% '' vinyl album and Illa J's eponymous album appeared on Bastard Jazz Records with custom signings and the sale of T-shirt create especially for the event. This evening could be realized thanks to the collaboration and the generosity of the artists, the ambassadors, the volunteers as well as the sponsors: Kristian Bolanos, Rise Kombucha, Moog Audio, Liv Salad, funny bird & Off The Hook Boutique

On November 17, Maison M3 organized a benefit event for MUNTU while promoting the talents of diversity designers.

Vancouver

On February 25, 2017 an event was organized by the TRÔÔP team, which adopted a carnival concept at the Fortune Sound club in Vancouver, with DJ Dax well known in Canada. The organizers gave us a check for $ 500 to help families in southern Haiti.
